What is Granny Says? 

Granny Says is a project I created to share poem and prose prompts. The mission of Granny Says is to help writers generate ideas for stories and poems while also building community and having fun. 

How do I participate? 
Prompt events will all be announced and run through the Granny Says Twitter account: @GrannySays__. To participate, share responses, read, and connect with other Granny Says writers use/search the hashtag #GrannySaidWrite. 

But why is a grandma providing prompts? 
Well, it's not actually a grandma. It's me (hiding behind a granny persona)! But, why a grandma, you ask? Because I think grandmas are spectacular—and when it comes to storytelling, who knows better than granny? Nobody!
